About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.

Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Renovations Project Manager.

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Follow Program and Portfolio Management Certification / Project Management Body of Knowledge (PPMC/PMBOK) standards for projects.
  • Coordinate the project with stakeholders to include distributing project related communications such as design reviews. Integrate all systems (e.g. IT, telephone, electrical, HVAC and plumbing) requirements. Obtain stakeholders' signatures and/or approvals as required.
  • Conduct pre-bid and pre-construction site visits.
  • Review shop drawings, submittals and construction documents.
  • Prepare and submit cost estimates for purchases and renovation services to the COTR and/or client for approval.
  • Update project management tool throughout the project cycle.
  • Provide commissioning reports, detailed equipment/inventory list and O&M manuals on all equipment installed to the Facilities POC at completion of each project.
  • Provide accurate as-builts/red line drawings to Facilities Manager.
  • Administer customer satisfaction survey and provide copy to the Facilities POC at each project completion.

Minimum Requirements
  • Active Top Secret SCI Clearance with Polygraph - TS/SCI
  • Full Performance Project Manager experience.
  • Bachelor degree in any related field or High School Diploma/GED with five (5) years recent experience in project management.
  • Professional Project Manager certification is desired.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Lotus Notes).
  • Basic understanding and familiarization with:
    • AutoCAD
    • Construction management and building codes
    • Building operations and management
    • Project management, related to facilities operations
    • General plumbing, electrical, maintenance (i.e., carpentry, painting, masonry) and other general trades

Preferred Qualifications
  • MAXIMO experience preferred
  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification is desired
  • MS Project
