The main responsibility of this position is to design experiments as well as develop material and equipment specifications to achieve CSP (Cost, Schedule and Performance) as per company's standards, branding objectives and project plan. The incumbent will conduct research, evaluate findings, provide technical input, lead design experiments and develop material / equipment trails intended to test packaging for suitability and performance under various conditions. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Work with development and operations teams to coordinate and run material/equipment trials in order to test packaging for suitability and performance under various NA design of experiments to evaluate various packages/materials/equipment, interpret test data, and report results for each validation/verification as well as to improve equipment NA material/equipment specifications including the use of lab testing equipment to validate and confirm NA & acquire production material and equipment related to packaging NA documentation of work instructions for new packaging NA technical engineering support for packaging NA with personnel across all levels of the company while building strong relationships and managing customers, internal/external, NA root cause analysis and provide solutions / NA, assess, prioritize and recommend energy-saving opportunity projects including both capital improvement projects as well as operational and maintenance NA and provide technical input and solutions for new package NA product improvement and cost reduction opportunities related to packaging NA multiple and complex projects in a fast paced and aggressive NA and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure energy performance and apply accountability. Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesPackaging Engineering Degree or Degree in a relevant engineering discipline combined with a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of packaging engineering experience with the Pharmaceutical industry. Candidates possessing Master level degrees are NA Engineer certification is NA least five (5) years of experience within a manufacturing NA with statistical process control, thermoformed plastics, extruded polymer films, corrugated, folding cartons and NA experience working in optimizing efficiency in the area of utilities and NA understanding of packaging equipment drawings, specifications, and contract NA analysis with knowledge of TOPS or CAPE, Solidworks (or other 3D modeling for 3D printing), and AutoCAD an NA leadership, planning, management, interpersonal and presentation NA process and project management skills, with high attention to detail and ability to work well under NA to communicate and work effectively in a team-based environment combined with good written and oral communication NA true sense of ownership and pride in work with a hands on, can-do NA organizational and multi-tasking ability in order to accommodate changes in NA to support a 3 shift 24/7 production operation on an as required basis is critical.
