I have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a high profile large project in Southampton. My client is a top tier one contractor and can pay up to £65,000 for the right candidate.|
I am looking for a Quantity Surveyor with solid Main Contracting experience and with a track record of Design and Build or New Build projects. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be heading up an onsite commercial team, managing all aspects of the project and taking on up to two Assistant QS's.
This opportunity is with a top 10 Main Contractor who are known for delivering top rate New Build, Residential, Commercial and Civils projects Nationally and Internationally.
Your responsibilities will include;
* Work closely with Contracts Management team on applications for extension of time
* Attend de brief meetings at end of projects
* Undertake Site Visits
* Submission & Negotiation of Final Accounts
* Validating Subcontractor Applications
* Management of on site Commercial team
* Knowledge of Current Forms of Contract - namely JCT 2011 D&B
* Experience with New Build residential of commercial projects
* BSc in Quantity Surveying 2:1 or equivalent
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
