A unique opportunity to work for a global leader within the automotive industry as a Materials Process Engineer|
As a Materials Process Engineer you will be involved in consultation around technical processes and economic decisions with a focus on sinter technology optimisation/development for producing strip material. You will create and implement manufacturing standards in reference to product development, as well as support of the introduction of new production methods/processes for existing and new lead-free materials. Further to this there will be an element of cooperation with scientific and academic institutions where you can participate in technical conferences and trade shows.
This role requires an experienced engineer with a degree in engineering specifically focused around material sciences or process technology development. You should have a good knowledge in metallurgy, previous experience in material development and material processing with a particular focus around powder production/processing and strip metal processing. You should also have core skills in optimising production processes such as quality/costs/output and some project management exposure.
