About the Role:
The Programme Planner role is a key role within the Asset Creation Infrastructure Programme Management Office (PMO), supporting the Programme Manager in the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of programme controls and reporting to drive increased performance and efficiencies.
Assisting the Investment Planning and Delivery teams in planning key milestones and update programmes and associated schedules in a P6 (Primavera) environment is a key element for this role, as well as managing the submission of programmes from the supply chain in accordance to Severn Trent Water standards.
Furthermore the successful candidate will ensure information is available in a timely manner, in order to support the Asset Creation Infrastructure reporting calendar, as well as ensuring there is an updated and live change control log. You will also support the programme manager in cross-department coordination and integration.
The successful candidate will have had experience in planning and or programme management, as well as experience in a reporting environment within either engineering, construction or manufacturing. Exposure to planning and programme tools such as P6 is also desirable.
Excellent planning and organisational skills are essential, as well as both strong communication and influencing skills. You will also have the ability to communicate at all levels, from technical teams to senior management. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability to manage data and be confident in using MS Office. Furthermore, SAP, MS Project, P6 (or equivalent) would be desirable.
