Our client houses one of the countries leading Water Engineering teams, and are offering the opportunitity for a flood risk and drainage engineer to lead this growth within the Birmingham & Manchester regions.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to help develop a strategically important area and the successful person will be key in further development of the business. Projects cover a wide range of development types including highway, rail, power and buildings and involves strategic and site-specific FRA's; flood management feasibility studies and detailed design solutions to address local sources of flooding; detailed design of below ground drainage systems; EIA and WFD assessments; and other strategic documents such as FRMS reports, SFRAs and SUDS guidance documents. Both the Birmingham & Manchester office's are also currently leading high profile rail projects as well as other water and flood risk related projects.
The successful candidate should be a competent self-starter with the drive and skills to build relationships, identify opportunities and work collaboratively with other disciplines. They should have excellent technical and commercial skills within the Water Engineering sector and have a good understanding of other engineering and environmental disciplines.

* Excellent commercial skills, including project management and bid preparation.
* Ability to work within a sector and multidisciplinary team.
* Relevant experience with the water markets.
* Chartered Engineer or Chartered Water and Environmental Manager (or working towards) with technical expertise in relevant areas
