My client are a Project Management Company who specialise in overseeing domestic construction work in London and the surrounding areas. We carry out more than 100 projects a year, delivering high-end extensions and conversions in some of the most affluent boroughs in London.
Purpose of the role:
To liaise with Clients, Architects, Contractors, Local Authorities, Surveyors and Engineers for the purposes of planning, scheduling and coordinating construction projects.

Manage Client build from initiation through to signoff
Work as an intermediary between the architect and client to produce plans
Coordinate all planning and party wall matters on behalf of the client, to ensure appropriate permissions are in place for the works to commence on time
Providing general and technical assistance to the clients throughout the planning process
Coordinate amendments and update project schedules and pricing
Coordinate the Engineer and Architect to prepare technical information for site
Prepare construction packages and conduct commencement meeting with Client and Contractor
Conduct regular inspections of build throughout project
Coordinate trades and suppliers in relation to the work on site
Manage communication between the Contractor, Client and other trades
Authorise payments from Client to the Contractor and other trades
Liaise with Building Control to resolve issues on site
Conduct sign off meeting and manage handover of project back to office
What we're looking for:

Essential : previous knowledge of working within the building industry (preferably domestic)
Essential : Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Confident in dealing with people from all backgrounds
Able to manage own workload and deliver to deadlines
Work well under pressure and able to handle difficult situations
Highly dependable and responsible
Sound IT skills: MS-Office, CRM database and general internet use
Have at least education qualifications to A level standard or equivalent
Have experience in reading architectural plans
Ideally have experience with domestic planning and party wall matters
Location: Office (2 days/week) and travel to clients throughout London (3 days/week)
