Reporting to Asset Manager you will be responsible for producing the highways assets proactive maintenance work programme and the life cycle replacement forward programmes and report. You will be responsible for producing Network Condition Index and Footway Condition Index reports.


- Skid Accident Investigation analysis
- Managing site validation for Proactive maintenance works programme for asset inventory and service inspection done in line with the PFI Contract
Production of Proactive maintenance works Report / programme of all assets
- Life Cycle Replacement LCR reports
- Manage the Develop Control and Advise advice
- Management S278/38 and other development Schemes
- Asset Management Plan Report
- Assist in producing Whole Government Accounting Report
- Assist in Asset Modelling
- Preparation of Project Engagement Document for condition survey contractors
- Annual reports to Ensign - Street Lighting (Methodology and Process) - Street Lighting annual planned maintenance programme
- Street Lighting annual structural and non-destructive test survey
- Annual Street Lighting deduction report
- Prepare road space booking and TM for surveys and service inspection
- NCI and FCI Methodology and Process reports
- KPI task - Carbon Calculation (HA model)
- KPI task - Safety Improvement Scheme Completion Log
- KPI task - SCRIM and accident analysis
- SCANNER report
- Overbanding (Crack Sealing) works
- TRN report
- Deputies for Asset Manager as when required
- To carry out other appropriate duties as assigned by your line manager.
- To ensure that all operations carried out within your area of responsibility are undertaken with full regard for safety of visitors, other members of staff and yourself.


•Should be able to demonstrate the following qualities and attributes:
•Committed to caring for people's safety,
•Good team member and able to communicate technical ideals,
•Ability to deliver work accurately on time and within budget,
•Able to identify innovative activities and ability to identify improvements in asset management.

•Degree (or equivalent) in civil or transport engineering preferred with relevant experience
•Membership of a relevant professional institution or working towards desirable qualification
•Driving licence

- In depth knowledge and understanding of the machine and visual condition survey inspection, maintenance of highway, highways assets management principles
- Good budget management and cost control skills
- Knowledge and experience of relevant design standards including DMRB and other highway codes of practice
- Good ICT skills and knowledge of asset management systems
- A good understanding of health and safety management and the requirements of CDM
