I am currently looking for a Building Services Manager to work with a family run leading construction business in the South-East, with the view to progress quickly into a fully fledged TSM role. As a business they turnover about £300 Million a year across the commercial, education and residential sector up to the value of £50 Million sometimes more. Keen to bring on an individual that wants to make a significant impact on the company which will help propel the business in a positive direction. Their Infrastructure team has a proven ability for delivering best value on some of the most technically demanding projects within the M&E market. |
As a Building Services Manager you will be supporting the Lead TSM on some larger projects as well as being responsible for the overall delivery of mechanical and electrical services on smaller projects. You will be required to oversea the work of the sub-contractors in addition to ensuring overall design is line with client specification.
The successful candidate will need to have experience in total site management as well as a proven track record of leading multiple discipline teams. It is essential that you have experience in the M&E Building services sector and a working knowledge of the operational activities and trade skills. You will need excellent presentations and communications skills and have proficient problem solving skills. It is crucial that you have the ability to work well under pressure, the confidence to make decisive decisions and experience in meeting tight deadlines.
