Acoustics and Airtightness Test Engineer/ Compliance Engineer- New builds|
(Surrey/Middlesex/London areas) up to £30k
This is a very interesting and rewarding new opportunity, due to business growth, for an Acoustics Test Engineer/Building Compliance Engineer to work with a portfolio of developers, including some very large prestigious projects to the requirements of Part E, L and F of the Building Regulations.
Servicing the immediate areas of Surrey/Middlesex/London, you will be responsible for carrying out pre-dominantly Acoustics tests, but will also be involved in air tightness testing and ventilation performance tests using specialist tools and software that will be provided along with a fully equipped and expensed van + bonus and benefits.
You will work from home on sites with a nominal 40 hour week (this will vary week to week but average out to 40) with very rare weekend work (if there is overtime paid).
You must be already living within the Surrey/ London or Middlesex areas to better serve the client base.
• Sound Insulation Testing experience for compliance with part E, CSH, etc. an advantage.
• Construction experience.
• You will need to successfully complete the in-house Dwelling Airtightness (DAT) training course and ventilation testing & commissioning course within the first six months of employment
• A clean license is desirable
• CSCS preferred, but not essential.
Excellent diagnostic and communication skills.
