Secondsite Recruitment has just registered an opportunity for an IT Support Analyst (1st & 2nd line support) to join a well-established client on a Full-Time Permanent basis. As an IT Support Analyst you will work within a busy and exciting IT Support Team and assist in providing email and telephone bases support to a variety of users (internal & external) and investigating the issues through to escalation or resolution.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in an IT Support role looking to take the next step in their career, or alternatively training will be provided for someone who may lack experience but have an IT related degree, apprenticeship or similar qualifications.

Offer package;
Role: IT Support Analyst (1st & 2nd line support)
Duration: Permanent
Hours: 09:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday
Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum

Primary duties:
* Providing internal IT support to the company's internal users; including remote assistance
* Maintenance and support of hardware and software used by the company; including Windows and Linux servers, desktops, laptops, tablets devices and mobile phones
* Providing a point of email and phone contact for external clients
* Participating in team projects such as desktop rollouts/updates or software installation
* Conducting the initial investigation of issues and resolve or escalate
* Tracking requests and providing client updates
* Acting upon monitoring alerts, investigating and resolving or escalating if required
* Working with the infrastructure, software development and testing teams and 3rd party suppliers to investigate and resolve issues and fulfil requests
* Ensuring high levels of customer service and maintaining a good user experience
* Maintaining asset records
* Working with the team to ensure that all end user issues are managed in accordance with Service Level Agreements
* Monitoring processes and escalating issues according to the company policy

The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in a similar role
* Customer service experience
* A proven track record of providing excellent IT support or to demonstrate strong IT support knowledge
* The ability to multitask professionally
* Excellent written and verbal communication ideally with strong grades at GCSE English or equivalent qualification
* Ability to follow instructions/procedures
* Ability to investigate issues on own initiative and present findings
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
* Organisational abilities and an excellent eye for detail
* Ability to work under pressure and manage/resolve issues promptly
* Willingness to periodically work in other GTI offices
* Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with the team, colleagues, external users and 3rd party suppliers

Desirable Technical Skills:
* Proven track record of being able to document technical procedures
* Windows Server environments
* Active Directory
* Exchange
* Querying databases using SQL and report writing
* Experience working with databases
* Telephone system support
* Desktop/Laptop/Mobiles/Tablet/Printer support
* Antivirus/antimalware
* Cisco/networking experience
* Linux environments
* DNS and TCP/IP
