An IT Systems Support is required for a 4 month contract (likely to be extended) based in Southampton, Hampshire.|
Working for a well-established organisation you will be responsible for providing customer focused, professional support to all systems as a fist/second line incident response.
Role and responsibilities:
-Assist in the support of various clinical and corporate systems.
-To support the day to day management and maintenance of the systems managed within the Systems Support Team including data quality reports, confidentiality and security, user account management, data entry etc.
-To follow a range of practices and procedures with the ability to identify issues.
-Analyse a range of factors when analysing a system issue and suggest solutions.
-To ensure all incident management complies with ITIL processes.
-To log all incidents onto the ICT Service desk system ITBM, in order to ensure their effective monitoring and management in a correct and timely manner. This will include updating information to ITBM as the incident progresses through each stage until resolution.
-Monitor clinical team submissions on a monthly basis and notify team managers of submission omissions or problems.
-To implement all configuration changes and/or updates are recorded and actioned in accordance with the team processes.
-To assist in the development and maintenance of documentation of operational procedures and security procedures.
-Facilitate and minute regular user groups for the major IT systems (RiO etc.) coordinating with the user group chair and the system developer and ensuring that agendas and minutes are issued promptly.
Knowledge and Experience:
-Knowledge of OpenRiO, SystmOne or other complex patient systems.
-Occasional training of users on 1 to 1 basis in small group environment.
-Good Microsoft Office skills.
-Knowledge of Data Protection Act.
-Information management & analysis
-In depth knowledge of system configuration and data structures
-Strong understanding of NHS Services and culture
-Previous administration of health systems
-Knowledge of Data confidentiality and security issues in the NHS
- Experience working within an NHS environment is desirable.
This role will be paying £11.00 p/h (PAYE + Holiday & Pension) or £13.50 per hour (Ltd/Umbrella) and is to start ASAP
