SERVICE SOLUTION MANAGER|
Exciting permanent opportunity available with a leading Telecoms organisation taking ICT/Converged network, Operations and Cloud infrastructure Services to market. The Service Solutions Manager supports Professional Service Sales ambition by improving service sales and the development of service solutions.
The Service Solutions manager is responsible to design, develop, market and sell service solutions in conjunction with key account managers. These solutions are based on combinations of existing or new services across multiple Business units.
As part of this role you will manage and support new ICT/Converged network, Operations and Cloud infrastructure Services that may be established via partnering and innovative solution developments tailored to customer demands and needs. These developments will typically be created in conjunction with Business Units and local Account teams to secure new Service sales growth and profitability, including use of IaaS and PaaS.
You will also be responsible for the overall project and bid management for Services related sales and bid responses. This will include responsibility for the end to end development of the service solution working with subject matter experts. The Service solutions will be designed to enable continued evolution and development of Service sales.
Pre-Sales and Business Development of Professional Services
Support Account teams to create and nurture Service Sales;
Resource planning and bid management associated with RFx across multiple Business Units for Service Solution Development and Pre-Sales activities;
Business requirements and modification to existing service solution portfolio to reflect existing and future customer needs
Retention and growth of existing contracted customer support contract order value
Market trends for Service related activities within ICT/converged networks
CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:
At least 3 years relevant experience in ICT related infrastructure/operations Service Pre-Sales bidding/RFx management and/or bundled product/service marketing support. Ideally knowledge of IT Operations and Cloud based service support solutions.
A proven ability to build and maintain a wide contact network with customer stakeholders impacting Service sales. Supported by a strong service market and product insight to exploit Service Sales growth opportunities.
Able to coordinate and motivate cross functional and multicultural teams creating Service proposals. Provide compelling ICT/Operations service solutions with a track record of successfully influencing internal and external stakeholders.
Good organizational, contracting and marketing skills to support Pre-Sales bid/RFx activities with an ability to motivate others to act and think with a positive outcome.
Knowledge of ICT industry, IT Operations, solutions and broad vendor capabilities maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of changes in the ICT sector. Ability to use market logic and customer constraints to identify and create business value to customers. creating business cases and competitive market analysis. Will typically have worked in an ICT infrastructure and Supporting Service environment with experience in ICT/Operations Pre-Sales/Bidding.
An ability and capability for self starting service led initiatives supporting increased market share and growth in ICT Operational services through consultative selling techniques with a proven capability to innovate and drive growth in existing and developing markets.
Solution expertise - Knowledge of converged communication networks, solution design and network architecture supporting IT Operations and Cloud based services.
Strong understanding and knowledge of ICT infrastructure and operations with a clear insight into market trends. Ideally, domain solution knowledge of services associated with IaaS, Paas, IT Operational solutions and Cloud/Data Centre support services.
Engagement to include UK based CxO/Director level with successful history of consultative selling capabilities.
Good presentation skills with solution knowledge skills to promote ICT related services to target customers and organisations.
Commercial skills - Experience in the development and management of Service sales business case development and the impact of customer SLA/OLA requirements.
Strong capabilities of managing sales leads through to order and methodologies used in an ICT, IT Operations and converged communication business environment. Strong financial modelling and analytical skills to create flexible service price models. Desirable to have knowledge of eTOM model, CMM, CMMI, ITIL, Prince2, PMI etc.
