Our Client, a market leading software house, is seeking an outgoing, flexible Project Manager to join their established team. You will work within the software development team, assuming full responsibility for leading projects of all sizes and overseeing system configuration. You will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; therefore, it is essential that you are comfortable working to deadlines and are able to prioritise.

Your role will involve taking full responsibility for end to end project lifecycles including creating requirements, producing project plans, allocating resources, budget control and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

You will also be responsible for:

• Defining the scope of projects in collaboration with management/directors
• Collating requirements and collaborating with developers to complete necessary documentation
• Creating detailed work plans using Agile methodologies
• Liaising with all relevant third parties to ensure their delivery is to the required standard
• Creating test strategies and plans to support project activity
• Developing schedules for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
• Determining the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at completion stages
• Efficiently Documenting all project activities
• Establishing a communication schedule to update stakeholders on the progress of the project

Skills and Experience required:

• Detailed knowledge of project management - 1-year minimum experience within an IT environment
• Prince2 Qualified ideally
• Proven software development experience
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Team player, working cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems and make decisions
• Ability to assess situations to determine their importance, urgency and risks associated
• Excellent organisational skills
• Experience with use of Team Foundation Service ideal
