Role: DBA - MSSQL Developer |
Salary: up to £40,000
My client are currently looking to recruit a DBA/MSSQL Developer with experience dealing with all areas of databases. The ideal candidate will have a good DBA background with a working knowledge of (url removed) and a willingness to involve themselves in the full stack as and when projects allow. This role is perfectly suited to someone with a previous DBA background that is looking to expand their skills further into the stack.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Analyse business requirements and develop database objects for optimal performance and scale
Troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
Data modelling for transactional including conceptual, logical, and physical representations
Design and develop data components- stored procedures, functions, views, indexes, etc.
Performance tuning of queries to achieve maximum performance
Monitor capacity and performance, and proactively resolve any problems
Validate that all physical database designs satisfy business requirements, and meet standards to database objects, data integrity, security, performance and recoverability
Creating data reports for departments and staff
To be considered for the role you must have:
2+ years of SQL Server and T-SQL development experience
Extensive experience with database performance tuning
Extensive experience with indexing strategies
Experience in database refactoring
Experience with metadata driven database solutions
Experience with SSIS/SSRS
Strong understanding and experience developing highly configurable and performance dynamic SQL
Strong knowledge of indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration.
Experience with Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Working knowledge of VB/(url removed)
An understanding of the full stack at a working level ((url removed)/HTML/CSS/JS)
