1st Line Support Technician

Primary Location: Hertfordshire-Borehamwood-Partnerships in Care Central Offices

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000

Work Pattern: Full-time

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Hours Per Week: 37.5

Our 1st Line Support Technician role involves:
•Responding to all assigned IT jobs within agreed SLA's
•Documenting all actions undertaken on each IT ticket
•Meeting Daily KPI's
•Assisting with assigning jobs to the correct IT Technician within the department or external to the department.
•prioritising all assigned jobs.
•keeping the users updated with progress on all assigned jobs.
•Using the tools provided and authorised for, to support the PIC IT infrastructure.
•providing additional support to the IT Helpdesk Phone line during busy times/breaks
•Providing ad-hoc assistance when required.

You must be able to work flexible hours


To be successful as 1st Line Support Technician, you'll need:
•Previous Customer Service experience including telephone communication.
•IT knowledge of hardware and software terminology.
•Ability to work within deadlines and within agreed SLAs and the ability to multi task and prioritise.
•Experience in troubleshooting 1st line desktop, network, server and printing support issues.
•Experience of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.
•Basic knowledge of IT networking.
