Senior Service Desk Analyst |
Full time permanent position
Based in Liverpool City Centre but travel to our clients Manchester and Preston Office will be required.
Our client is a Top 100 Commercial Law Firm with a 200 year heritage based in the North West with offices in Liverpool, Manchester and Preston.
Working across the company's three sites in Liverpool, Manchester and Preston
Receiving, logging and managing calls from internal staff
Take ownership of user problems and follow up the status of problems on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner
To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
To act as a main point of contact for phone calls and emails from staff regarding IT issues and queries
Carry out daily Infrastructure system checks, including backups, event logs etc
Proven experience managing an ITIL aligned Service Desk function in a corporate environment (ITIL foundation essential).
Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
Experience using Document Management Systems.
Experience working within a Windows Server environment in particular Microsoft Active Directory & Group Policy to an advanced level.
Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills, including the ability to do integration work with other SQL systems, stored procedure, updates, joins and inserts.
The flexibility to work in locations across the North West.
Skills Desirable but not essential:
Experience installing and supporting iManage Work and related iManage application components is highly desirable.
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Scripting knowledge (VBS, WMI or PowerShell)
ServiceNow experience would be an advantage.
Salary up to £50,000.00 plus a number of benefits
Hours 37.50 Monday to Friday
