IT Security Ops Manager - Operations, CISSP, CISM, CISA, DDos - Slough - £60,000 - 25 days holiday plus excellent benefits

My client a top 10 company in their field are currently looking for an IT Security Operations Manager to join their cyber security team based in their large office in Slough. You will be supplying your expertise in ensuring that the company meet their cyber security commitments for customer based systems (nationally known clients) as well as the companies internal systems. Part of your role will have to be managing, training, guiding and developing your 4 direct reports which are made up of IT Security Engineers.

Day to day:

* Assist with design, architecture and deployment for the SecOps strategy that is in place
* You will be accountable for SOC Event and Incident Management
* Manage schedule security tasks (security services request fulfilment)
* Deliver technical prevention, detection and corrective controls to the business and its customers
* manage the information security toolset which includes; SIEM, DLP, Netflow, IDS/IPS, Anti-Malware systems
* mentor and develop operational security staff
* Provide advice to your colleagues on the technologies and processes that underpin cyber security for internal and customer systems
* Keep up to date with current and emerging security trends and threats
* Working to SLA's and KPI's for effective incident management
* Managing a team of 4 engineers to meet business objectives

Skills required

* Strong skills and experience with operating systems, switching, routing, firewalls, databases and cloud infrastructure
* Strong skills within IT Security such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, patch deployment, netflow, IAM, DLP, DDoS mitigation and cryptography

Desirable skills

* Ethical hacker, OWASP and Software Security
