My client are a multi-site IT Managed Service Provider who's success has led to the continued expansion of the organisation. |
They are currently looking for a Major Incident Manager to join their existing team. This is a permanent position working a 24/7 shift rota (2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off)
As a member of the Incident Management team, you will play a key role in the delivery of high quality problem resolution for the business and the customer, whilst delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and a personalised service.
Responsibilities - Major Incident Manager:
â€¢ Identify Problems with the IT Infrastructure or IT process? for contracted support customers.
â€¢ To create and develop a Service Improvement Plan for Problem Management as a whole.
â€¢ To create and develop specific plans of IT improvements for contracted support customers in conjunction with engineering teams and Client Service Directors.
â€¢ Manage to completion all identified problems for contracted support customers (where possible). This may include recommending resources to form virtual teams from throughout the company, where expertise is required in certain areas.
â€¢ Manage the Knowledgebase in respect of Known Errors and Workarounds.
Job Requirements ? Major Incident Manager:
â€¢ Previous Incident Management experience
â€¢ Experience working for a Managed Service Provider
â€¢ Strong organisational and co-ordination skills
