Senior Business Analyst- £50,000 - £65,000 base + bonus; flexibility to travel. Business Analysts must be willing to travel to - or be located at - any of the client sites in the UK

My client is a top end Software Engineering, Design and Consulting company, with over 20,000 professionals globally. The role of Senior Business Analyst role is exciting, varied and responsible; representing my client on client site and ensuring my client's customers receive the very best of their services.

The ideal candidate with have 6+ years' Business Analysis IT-enabled change and delivery experience. Since the role is project-orientated, you must have extensive experience of the Business Analysis across all stages of the project lifecycle, particularly in Agile environments, and demonstrable expertise in a variety of pan-lifecycle business analysis methods and techniques. Whilst able to draw on an expansive toolkit of traditional analysis techniques and tools, you should be able to innovate when called for, always ensuring that the analysis approach, methods and deliverables are adapted to the scenario in-hand.


- 6+ years' Business Analyis experience in complex IT-enabled business change environments;
- Good Agile experience;
- Retail/E-commerce experience;
- Digital experience;
- Knowledge of E-Commerce platforms such as Hybris & ATG and or content management systems such as Sitecore & AEM is advantageous but not required;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills as this is a client facing role;
- Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships with team members;
- Encourage fellow team members to make innovative contributions and embrace new ideas;
- Mentor and steer more junior Business Analysts assigned to the same project;
- Interface - and communicate effectively - with different groups such as stakeholders, users, developers, UI and UX experts and testers, `translating` information and messages as required;
- Execute effective stakeholder identification and analyses, using tools such as Stakeholder and RACI Matrices;
- Develop and continue positive relationships with client IT and business stakeholders at all levels, manage their expectations, and resolve conflicts;
- Identify and document the as-is and to-be, and define a road map of how best to move from the current to future state;
- Identify, document, analyse and improve business and system processes, and user journeys;
- Organise and drive the identification, prioritisation, documentation, communication of - and commitment to - business requirements throughout the project lifecycle, using a variety of recognised techniques and tools;
- Facilitate the development of business requirements through discussions, workshops, interviews, GAP analyses and other appropriate methods and techniques;
- Utilise a variety of methods to best document and communicate requirements, including wireframes, user stories, use cases and specifications;
- Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, using a variety of methods including Agile product backlogs;
- Proactively co-ordinate focus and activity to ensure the client`s requirements are met through delivery;
- Review, assess and advise on project changes, especially when they impact agreed scope or requirements;
- Develop accurate and complete user and business acceptance test plans, and test scenarios and scripts; and manage and facilitate UAT execution;
- Support the client in developing and delivering end-user training;
- Address end-user questions about process and/or system implementations, providing break/fix support;
- Demonstrate understanding of project processes, such as RAID and change management;
- Utilise tracking tools such as JIRA, TFS or Rally.
