My client possesses a global manufacturing presence that includes factories in UK & throughout the world. Manufacturing steel and supplying to numerous industries including automotive, construction, household appliances and packaging. The Birmingham site is supplying steel to the automotive sector and supplying to the UK's leading OEM's including NISSAN, HONDA & JLR. With a group turnover in the billions they are working with the latest technologies and are continuously looking at ways to improve their divisions which all operate for specific industries. Due to business expansion they are looking to recruit an additional Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to the team.


As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be:

" Site Based in West Midlands
" Performing maintenance on all plant machinery and equipment including power presses & ABB robots
" Performing PPM and possess the initiative to identify future problems
" Performing a variety of maintenance duties which will include Hydraulic, pneumatic Mechanical & Electrical
" Working with plant machinery which are PLC Controlled -Siemens & Allen Bradley
" Working on a 3 shift system - 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm & 10pm - 6am


The ideal Multi-Skilled Maintenance engineer will be:

" Qualified in Electrical engineering including their 16th or 17th Edition
" Ability to read and work to engineering / electrical drawings
" Experience of Fault Finding using PLC's - Siemens & Allen Bradley
" Had some exposure to Robotics
" A positive, flexible and enthusiastic attitude
" Good IT Skills


The successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will receive:
