Your new company
Your new company is a global automotive manufacturer with a large UK presence. Our client has seen large growth over the past few years and prides itself on the quality of their products. There is now a need for a Senior Quality Manager in their highly successful Staffordshire based plant.
Your new role
You will be overseeing strong team of 10 quality professionals and will be reporting into the Senior management team regularly. You will be responsible for ensuring the high standards currently held within this JIT plant remain constant and will need to liaise with all corners of this 700 strong workforce. The plant is supplying directly to Toyota and JLR and you will therefore need to communicate with both clients regularly to ensure a strong working relationship.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a proven quality manager within the automotive sector and it is essential that you have worked with Toyota suppliers before. You will need to be a credible expert in your field as this is a senior management position. You should be familiar with ISO9001, ISO14001 and TS16949 as well as well versed with quality audits across other checks. You will be driven to succeed and progress still within your career as this role comes with opportunity for further development and growth in the business. You will carry the same ethos with regards to standards as this business and take real pride in the quality of your work.
What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a very competitive salary of circa £55,000 per annum with this role, as well as a £7,000 car allowance and private healthcare. This position is perfect for a successful and ambitious quality manager who still aims to progress further up a large organisation.
