Job Title - Maintenance Manager|
Shifts - Monday to Friday (Days)
Location - Leicester
Salary - £40k plus Production Bonus (up to 20% of basic salary) OTE £48k

Our client is one of the largest manufacturers of Construction Products in the UK. The business has enjoyed some rapid growth recently thanks to heavy investment in new plant equipment to expand production capacity and new upgraded kit that allows faster production rates.
The business has also been focusing on LEAN manufacturing methodologies to further drive the overall efficiency of the existing plant equipment, with a large sum of money set aside to specifically invest in areas that require improvement.
Their Leicester Plant is currently running at 20% over design capacity thanks high product demand. As such this site is currently undergoing a multimillion pound extension to the production lines to help meet this demand.
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all Maintenance Staff and Operations on site. This includes Managing the PPM system and assigning both Reactive Breakdown task and PPM tasks to Maintenance Team Leaders for their teams to work on, managing department Spares budget of £2 million and overseeing any new installation or upgrade Projects on Site.
The Maintenance Manager will also need to ensure all staff adhere to H&S policies, along with any training associated with Safe Working practices on site. This is also extended to any Contractors who will be working on site, with the issuing of Work Permits.
As part of the management of the PPM system, the Maintenance Manager will need to conduct Root Cause Analysis into repeat breakdowns and put into place corrective actions in line with the business' LEAN and Continuous Improvement Initiative.
To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:
* Must have previous experience working as a Maintenance Manager.
* Must have experience working in an FMCG or high volume production environment.
* Must have experience with Root Cause Analysis, Continuous Improvement and LEAN manufacturing techniques.
* Must have a recognised Engineering Qualification
