Our client provide Data Analytics, Consultancy and Technology Solutions to support decision making for clients across the Defence, Energy and Utilities industry sectors. They currently have an opportunity for an aspiring Graduate to join an established and growing Assurance team as a Junior Consultant. You will be encouraged to develop your skills and experience, allowing you to progress quickly both technically and commercially within a highly professional environment with strong career progression opportunities.

Initially working within the cost management team, you will support clients to understand the costs for new and existing programmes. You will be responsible for forecasting cost, analysing historical data and applying quantitative models, techniques, tools and databases to predict the future cost of items, products, programmes or tasks.

As this is a customer facing role, you will have the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels and produce outputs to inform decisions at various levels of management. Types of output will include Investment Appraisals through to complete Whole Life Costs, with subsequent preparation of presentations and reports.

You will also undertake programme management support to these engagements, with the ability to execute these alongside existing cost experience to provide a broad depth pf consulting offerings by:

* Supporting internal and external bid activities
* Use cost analysis, which will include reporting information to project teams and Board members
* Assistance in the growth of the Cost Management Capability across the business through personal and business development activities.

Essential Requirements & Attributes:

* Educated to Degree level (Mathematics, Science or Engineering)
* Strong Mathematical skills, adept at problem solving (Strong Excel Skills are Essential)
* Committed to developing a career in the Project Assurance or Management Domain, with a general interest in Cost Management)
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships
* Strong commercial and business awareness
* Full UK Driving Licence
