Mechanical Maintenance/Installation Engineer - £25,000 - £28,000
Mechanical maintenance engineer required for small, friendly company who design and install bespoke equipment into manufacturing companies across the midlands.
The successful candidate will come from a maintenance background. You can come from ANY manufacturing background and have experience of machine assembly. The successful candidate will be 80% mechanically bias, 20% electrically bias. Mechanically you will have experience of hydraulics, pneumatics, assembly and installation of machines, this can be any type of production or manufacturing machinery. Electrically you will have experience of fault finding and three phase.
The role itself will be 50% workshop based and 50% field based, you will be responsible for maintaining, installing and servicing special purpose equipment. The company provides equipment into the likes of Automotive, Food and Aerospace industries. When in the workshop you will be responsible for PPM and service on manufacturing machinery and providing reactive breakdown coverage. The remaining time you will be travelling to customer locations across the midlands. The company will provide you with a van, you will carry out on site maintenance, machine overhaul, refurbishment, installation and commissioning. The companies kit is bespoke so full product training will be given.
