About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. AECOM is actively seeking Maintenance Planning SME (Senior Level Logistics Analyst) to provide subject matter expertise to the OHIO Replacement Program Logistics Manager (PMS397T5) at the TRIDENT Refit Facility (Kings Bay, GA) .
Tasking shall include:
Provide subject matter expertise in refit planning, workload smoothing and workload estimating related to predicting and assessing OHIO Replacement (OR) submarine life cycle maintenance and modernization requirements, capabilities and capacities.
Evaluates and determines whether and if so, how, maintenance and modernizations can be accomplished within prescribed refit and Extended Refit Period (ERP) and EOH duration constraints.
Planned maintenance requirements generated from the OR's Pre-Construction Class Maintenance Plan (PCCMP) and related information from the Technical Foundation Paper (TFP) issued by SUBMEPP, will be used for this purpose.
Incumbent will be responsible identifying adjustments to short and long range OR refit schedules/work packages in order to workload smooth the requirements across the life cycle and validate or revise man-day work estimates. Areas of concern and recommended mitigation strategies will be provided.
Incumbent will also be responsible for identifying gaps in skills of current refit maintenance workforce needed to support OR SSBN due to new technologies being incorporated on the OR as well as any facility upgrades needed to support OR.
Bachelor's degree in business or logistics and at least twenty (20) years of Project Engineering experience with e xpansive knowledge and experience with OHIO Class submarine intermediate maintenance engineering, planning and execution processes, operations, organizations and facilities (e.g. Trident Refit Facility (Kings Bay, GA).
Other required experience:
Experience involving Unrestricted Operations to Design Test Depth (URO) program requirements, the TRIPER program, OHIO Class Alterations, AWPs and Hull, Mechanical, Electrical, Weapons and Communication systems.
Knowledgeable in the use of the Maintenance & Shipwork Planning (M&SWP) system used by SUBMEPP for maintenance planning. Knowledge and experience in management analysis methods and techniques.
Knowledge of how to conduct risk assessments and propose mitigating actions.
Active secret clearance required.
Must possess organizational skills, technical management skills, and ability to perform detail-oriented work.
Self-motivated, possess analytical skills and be customer-oriented.
Effective communication, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with computer hardware and software; proficiency in MS Office Suite
