Job Description The Child Care Specialist provides and ensures supervision for all children who are registered into the child care facility while their parents attend a sales tour. Supervision must be provided while maintaining a professional, friendly, safe and secure environment. Provides a warm, caring environment for children ranging in age 3 to 11 years old. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Greet and register children from parents, noting any special instructions that parents may NA continuous monitoring and multi-tasking when the room has several NA indoor NA with children at NA daily registration NA adequate inventory levels for the department to effectively operate(i.e., crayons, pencils, napkins, spoons, etc.).Prepare play materials and ensure that play areas, equipment and toys aresafe and NA snacks and beverages to NA entertainment (i.e., movies, games, coloring supplies).Console upset or distressed NA contact parents of distressed or upset NA child leaves with parent or authorized NA a playful, organized, professional NA up snack area and maintain snacks stocked throughout the NA clean and sanitize equipment & NA away leftover NA up and clean around room throughout the day as NA and uphold the Mission Statement as provided by Diamond ResortsInternational®Support and uphold the vision and philosophies of the management team NA, support, implement and adhere to policies and proceduresestablished by NA a cohesive working relationship with the Sales departments, Salespersonnel and NA customer service NA goals and objectives provided by NA personal and departmental written objectives determined throughoutthe NA as needed with NA superior customer service in accordance with the Company DRIven toExcellence NA practice and maintain the highest standards of professionalismwhen interacting with fellow team members, management, owners, members NA other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required:High School diploma, GED or NA have reliable transportation. Preferred:Previous activities or child care NA experience in the customer service and/or hospitality/timeshareindustry. SKILLS Required:Must enjoy interacting with children ages 3 to 11 years NA be patient and NA be creative, playful and attentive to NA to take direction from management and adjust to company's NA customer service NA interpersonal and communication NA management; the ability to organize and manage multiple NA analysis and problem solving NA and NA oriented. Preferred:Bilingual.
