Duties involve interfacing with users to develop and document software requirements, developing design concepts, software design and development, integration of software with electrical, mechanical and control systems, and supporting other software engineers who deploy the software in specific applications. Programming and integration assignments involve leading-edge software and hardware technologies including interfacing with PLC's, PC's, robotics, motion controllers, vision systems, laser and NA with customers, project managers, designers, toolmakers, electricians, controls engineering and service to solve problems by creating industry leading monitoring, analytics and display tools with the goals being enhanced functionality, enhanced service opportunities, reduced downtimes, enhanced data analysis and NA and develop software programs (PC based) specific to customer and project NA, test and integrate hardware and software NA thorough testing of software functionality to verify program NA accurate documentation for each NA customer on solving technical NA that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business NA to all health and safety rules and procedures. Background Profile:A post-secondary engineering degree, diploma or equivalent, specializing in electrical, software, systems or computer NA programming/software development and problem-solving skills.2+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server2+ years experience with Microsoft NA experience with JavaScript and Microsoft C#Exposure to AngularJS, AJAX, bootstrap and/or other Javascript librariesExperience with Agile development practicesExperience with software development in a team environmentStrong data analytics skillsStrong statistical analysis skillsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.A self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Bonus Points:Understanding of automation mechanical, electrical and control systemsUnderstanding of machine operation, maintenance, service and NA of PLCs and PLC communicationUnderstanding and experience with OPC and industrial networksExposure and understanding of business intelligence ​
