The Network & Infrastructure Architect is responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance/support of architectural solutions in infrastructure, hardware, hosting service and network areas. This person will lead the network design, establish the network specifications and will have a thorough understanding of the corporate and hosted networks. The Infrastructure Architect is responsible for defining network parameters, bandwidth and security requirements, and will maintain the network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning. This person will help in the deployment of infrastructure, the management of those assets, and the troubleshooting and remediation of any problems or incidents that may arise. This person will provide technical guidance in the middleware management and support and will be responsible for the integration, testing, and monitoring of the hardware / software / applications with the aid of automation and monitoring tools. The Infrastructure Architect will monitor and coordinate software releases with application teams, quality assurance teams, acceptance and production and will support the daily production operation of the middleware tools including but not limited to performance monitoring, patching, and maintenance upgrades.
