The services of Hays have been retained by our Client an Architectural Practice based in Belfast City centre to recruit for an Architectural Technician on a permanent basis. Our client have an established presence within the market operating across a number of sectors such as Leisure and Commercial including hotels and high end residential schemes for over 15 years. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to join a growing practice where they can work on a number of upcoming and exciting projects throughout the U.K. and Ireland. |
Your new role
You will join a focused and passionate design team were you will work on a number of upcoming projects particularly within the Hotel and High End Residential Sectors. Using your initiative and technical background you will be able to produce technical and working drawing packages, attend site meetings and liaise with sub-contractors when required. You will get to provide technical support on matters relating to building design, life cycle, and technical standards and ensure projects are within specification.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful Candidate will either:
Hold a degree or equivalent in Architecture or Construction related subject area with 5 years' practical experience working as an Architectural Technician or equivalent in an architectural office.
Or 5 years' practical experience working as an Architectural Technician or equivalent in an architectural office or have 3 years' experience working in an architectural office as Design Team Leader.
The ability to advise and monitor the junior architectural staff on issues relating to CDM regulations
