Your new role
Due to expansion a new Architectural Technologist is required to work on multiple projects across a variety of sectors. You will be working under an associate who will supervise and support you throughout your time there. As a Technologist your main responsibility will be ensuring that designs pass through planning. This involves completing of working drawings, technical reports and the addition of construction detailings. Dependent on the project there will also be the opportunity to attend sites and to complete feasibility studies and site surveys.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience of working in a professional practice with an awareness of the attention of detail expected. Your team focus approach to work will help you succeed as the office is open and collaborative and knowledge sharing is a key part of the culture. You will have a degree or HNC equivalent in a Architectural Technology or similar focused qualification. A deep technical knowledge of construction is required with the ability to use this to get designs through planning applications. You will have a progressive mentality and the want to further yourself within the company. Experience within Revit and Vectorworks will stand you in good steed for this role.
What you'll get in return
As a reward for your continuous hard work and dedication a salary of 22-35,000 will be offered dependent on experience.
