Mechanical Project Manager - Permanent - Birmingham - circa £45,000 - £50,000|
AndersElite are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager for a national building services contractor, based in their Birmingham office.
This is a permanent position, available ASAP (October 2016 onwards) and will offer a salary, depending on experience of approximately £45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus benefits.
Our client is well established in the North and South of the UK, who are now expanding to the Midlands area, so this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to be part of a developing team and thriving business.
Reporting into the regional Operations Manager, the selected candidate will be required to oversee mechanical services installations on new build and refurbishment projects, usually in the commercial, industrial, education and healthcare sectors.
Typical projects will range in value from £350k up to £2.5m in mechanical services value, so applicants should have proven experience as the overall mechanical lead on projects of this size in relevant building environments.
This is an office based role (Birmingham) overseeing projects in the central region of England, with site visits diarised as required.
The Mechanical Project Manager will be fully responsible for the running of projects (up to a maximum of three at one time) from inception through to completion, assisting on design and project planning, overseeing site installation, as well as all cost control and commercial management.
This position is available from October / November 2016, with applications welcome from candidates who are either immediately available or serving a notice period with their current employer.
It is advantageous for candidates to possess a degree / HNC in Building Services or any other technical qualifications, including SMSTS / CSCS for site management, although all applicants will be judged primarily on their previous experience.
