Office Administrator - Luton, Bedfordshire. Salary upto £26,000 depending on experience. This is a maternity cover that may lead to a permanent role for the right person. Working full time Monday - Friday.|
A leading main contractor construction company with a division specialising in fit out, refurbish, manage and maintain a wide range of projects from £5,000 to £25 million are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join their team in Luton.
To provide general administrative support to office function
Contract documentation collation and drafting
Understands and supports in preparation for subcontractor orders to business standards (standard docs, printing, binding, unison input, issue and execution).
Understands and supports in preparation for material purchase orders to business standards (standard docs, printing, binding, unison input, issue and execution).
Understands and supports in preparation of Consultant Appointment documents (standard docs, printing, unison input, issue and execution
Manage receipt, processing and filing of signed order documentation
Manage receipt, processing and filing of signed Main Contract order documentation.
Understanding and supporting site based commercial duties
Early engagement with supply chain on tender / re-pricing activities
Preparation, issuing of subcontract tender enquires
Updating project specific trackers (procurement, drawing register's etc)
Co-ordinating and management of Project Contract Reviews (arranging dates, preparing key documents / minutes and actions)
Management of site records including day works, progress photo's, plant records, drawings, RFI's, CVI's etc.
Management of information on SharePoint.
Liaise with labour desk to obtain records of site white / blue collar labour and circulate to commercial team.
General administrative duties

Previous experience of an administrative role desirable
Basic knowledge of maintaining records and databases
Good planning and organisational skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team and accept responsibility for defined areas of work
