Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of 2-3 projects from input to tender through construction to handover, through your construction teams.
Duties include: client liaison, programming of work, design development, management of site teams, ensuring company standards for health and safety, quality assurance, staffing, forecasting, coordination and progress meetings, reporting on progress, issue resolution, driving teams to achieve successful delivery on programme, budget and quality.
About the Company/Client/Project:
This regional main contractor office has an annual turnover of £20m, with work in the Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey, and Sussex areas, with the scope of works including education schools and colleges, commercial, industrial, MOD, etc. There is a 5 years growth plan in place to grow and develop the region, and this role will play a key part in delivering this.
Requirements including certificates and Qualifications:
Ideally from an engineering or trades background, you will have extensive practical experience of managing new build and refurbishment design and build projects for a main contractor, and have progressed through the Site Manager / Project Manager route.
You will possess excellent contractual, commercial and technical construction knowledge, with the ability to plan, programme and drive the construction of projects through your site teams, whilst maintaining positive client relationships throughout.
