New Horizons (Stockport) Ltd was established in 1997 and we have grown considerably and worked hard to provide the best full time care and rehabilitation for children and young people. We look after children and young people of 10-17 years of age, with challenging behaviour / complex needs and children on the periphery of offending.

We have consistently delivered placement stability, high quality health and social care and achieved excellent educational results, which have been pivotal to our success in achieving positive outcomes for children with all kinds of challenging behaviours.

The Home Manager will be mainly responsible for:
To effectively and efficiently manage the home. To work within and ensure effective delivery of the main responsibilities and key result areas identified within the role of a manager.
Take overall responsibility for all staff, delegating effectively and appropriately.
Manage staffing structures and rota's ensuring they meet requirements of the children's needs.
Ensure all staff are aware of their responsibilities in relations to adherence of policies and procedures, both in the home, the organisation and those set out in children's legislation and regulations.
Further responsibilities as set out in the job description.

The Deputy Manager will be responsible for:
The maintenance and development of the staffing team.
Ensuring the home is run inline with company policies and procedures, OFSTED National Minimum Standards and every child matters.
To undertake a wide range of skills which will involve some direct and indirect care of children and young people with complex behavioural needs.
You will be expected to work shifts, undertake some administration duties and work flexibly to meet the needs of the children and fulfill all health and safety requirements.

The Senior Support Worker and Support workers will be responsible for:
To act as a key worker to specific children and young people
To promote structure, boundaries and domestic routines within the home.
Working in line with children and young people's care and placement plans.
Supporting young people with project and group work.

The Support Worker will meet the following criteria:
Experience of offering a comprehensive residential service to children and young people
Minimum of an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, Children & Young People
Experience of working with young people in a residential setting
Full UK Driving licence

We have full time & part time positions available, covering; sleep ins, shift work, evening and weekends on a rota system.

The roles would suit an experienced, qualified, Residential Home Manager, Deputy Manager, Senior Residential Support Worker and Residential Support Worker
