Head of IT Operations
Redhill, Surrey
Salary: up to £70k (depending on experience) + parking 10% bonus, pension, healthcare, life insurance, childcare vouchers

Essential experience:
* Proven experience managing an infrastructure team supplying DevOps provisioning in a multi-team Agile software development company;
* Proven hands-on experience deploying, managing, and maintaining infrastructure hosted at a managed data centre; You have strong hardware, network database skills; specifically Oracle databases and DBA;
* Experience of Office 365
* Strong experience of internal environment, Citrix, VM Ware
* Some knowledge of help desk
* Experience and knowledge of networks, SharePoint

* Lead the IT Services Centre Operations and manage resourcing, budget, structure, policies and procedures
* Define and implement SLA's across the organisation
* Capacity and demand planning for new IT desktop services
* Manage relationships with 3rd party providers
* Power management and how this gets into the internal climate

Reporting into the Head of Hosting Solutions the Head of IT Operations will lead by example, understand all the facets of Infrastructure, Corporate and Network. You're a coach, not a passive manager. You understand the needs of the business and when sourcing or designing solutions you can perceive the difference between 'sub-standard', fit-for-purpose, and Rolls-Royce solutions, articulate the pro's and con's and provide recommendations clearly. You work with a small team of experts, evolving their personal development and understand the corporate world.
