Service Desk Coordinator - EPOS

Responsibilities will include performing the coordination of installing and supporting customers EPOS/I.T equipment and data solutions via onsite engineer support, the role will also include administration tasks to progress projects to ensure timely and effective project development and completion.

Duties and Responsibilities

Working with customers and engineers to identify appropriate configuration settings, document and implement them.

Support the installation and maintenance of customer systems.

Answer/respond to all incoming calls, emails and log calls accurately. Make outbound calls to customers, engineers and 3rd parties ensuring all the relevant information is passed on and logged.

Chase open calls for updates / feedback / closure information.

Perform remote Installation, Configuration and Maintenance support via on site engineers for Customer sites.

Coordinate programs or project planning and implementation, including assessing needs.

Prepare customers cost schedules and mail to customers.

Prepare customers invoices.

Establish project work plan and calendar / schedules.

Provides advice to engineer resource, serve as a liaison, acts as a resource scheduler, analysing information, providing documentation, and preparing reports.

Monitor record keeping and file maintenance for the programs or projects.

Prepare records of project activities, oversees and ensures the timely processing in and the delivery of required materials.

Verify and analyse the accuracy of all data and information used or generated by projects; resolve any discrepancies or problems.

Serve as liaison for engineering resource, coordinate activities and exchanges of sign-off information.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience in a EPOS/I.T. installation environment.

Strong Experience and knowledge of EPOS/PC Architecture, Retalix and Microsoft Products.

Knowledge of Basic Networking.
