We are bolstering one of the best Cloud Saas engineering teams in London as they expand to cope with a huge pipeline of Greenfield project work. Globally, they are already a market leading Software Vendor in the media industry however they are now pushing to dominate the US market and are excepting a 10 fold increase in usage on their 'Platform' as a result. |
To do this they are seeking 2 Front End Developers with a background working with AngularJS to join their full stack engineering team. On joining you will be working exclusively on their mobile first front end apps building new features, and entire SPA's, for their 'Platform' product - currently this is built using Angular 1.5 however plans for new projects are likely to move it to either Angular 2, or react, depending on what the team decide is best suited.
Once settled your focus will switch to a full stack position where you will be learning how to design, and build, NodeJS Microservices, NoSQL's databases, Redis Caching, RabbitMQ messaging as well as how to configuring automated deployments into the cloud (AWS) using tools such as Docker, Jenkins and Kubernetes. If that wasn't enough, and if it's of interest to you, you will have opportunities to learn Scala too as the whole platform is driven by a Big data engine written in the language - it's the API's from this that you will be consuming with Angular, via Node.
