Our client is an event technology and services company who specialise in mobile applications for association and corporate events and fundraisers.
They are currently seeking a Junior / Graduate Front End Developer to join their team on a full time basis or a 40 week university placement. This will be onsite at their Sturminster Newton office. The majority of the Development Team are based in Australia so you will be required to spend 2 months in Australia learning the development process and getting to know the team.
Junior / Graduate Front End Developer are responsible for contributing to the collaborative project process and working together with the team to turn design concepts into high quality digital work. Our client have an agile working environment with an open floor policy for ideas and implementation.
Skills and Expertise:
To fulfil this Junior / Graduate Front End Developer position you must possess the following:
* Expert in NA, expressJS & Grunt
* Excellent HTML5 & SCSS
* Good understanding of version Control (Git)
* Expert in Angular JS
* Great problem solving skills
* Positive can do developer
* Experience with RESTful API's
* Understanding of responsive design and coding
* Photoshop knowledge
* Python & Django Framework
* Passion for staying up to date on latest coding standards and practices
* Understanding of Jira
