We are a market leading supplier or turnkey systems for the materials handling industry, due to a period of extended growth, we are currently seeking to appoint an experienced mechanical design engineer to join our engineering team.|
As our Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for all mechanical aspects of our materials handling systems and will be required to deliver projects to a given specification within cost and time parameters.
We have a great team of engineers in our mechanical team, we are happy to share our knowledge and are looking for like minded individuals who take pride in there work and most importantly have a good sense of humour!
As our Mechanical Design Engineer you will be required to carry out the following tasks
To ascertain project layouts and provide detailed design layouts.
To produce information on system throughput and dimensional information
To provide detailed system drawings
Liaison with purchasing department
To create all relevant installation information.
To create system risk assessments as necessary
We do not require any specific CAD software experience, however good 3D experience will be helpful.
We would like candidates to have some kind of formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering, however the key to securing this role is your experience and more importantly your attitude!
