Managing Quantity Surveyor - Water|

Our client is a leading water sector contractor with a large framework in the South of England. They are looking for proven Managing Quantity Surveyor with an M&E background who will work with them on water sector projects.
Reporting directly to the Framework manager, you will be joining a growing team with a large, secure order book including a five-year framework in the area. You will be responsible for ensuring profitability, accurate reporting and cash management across a number of water industry projects, working within a very strong engineering and construction division you will help with the development and management of the commercial framework allowing the engineering staff to deliver the projects.
The role will involve works valuing, payment applications, agreeing variations with suppliers and clients, agreeing final accounts etc.
You will have come from an Industrial / Engineering contractor background and will have a strong mechanical and electrical knowledge. Experience within the water industry is also very desirable.

What you'll need
-Relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
-Chartered Surveyor and Member of RICS ideal
-Experience managing large-scale sub-contract packages
-Main Contracting experience
-Strong understanding of NEC forms of contract is essential
-Strong contract administration skills
-Strong communication skills
