Global manufacturing company in Warrington looking for perforating press machine operator, temp-to-perm £8.78ph |
Your new company
Your new company is a global manufacture of perforated metal sheets. They are a large company, with 13 sites across Europe and they supply to the automotive and food industries, their big name clients include well known companies such as Rolls Royce and Kelloggs. Majority of their work tends to be large projects therefore they receive a variety of different work for completion. They have a variety of CNC machines such as turret press, cross press and AMADA laser machinery.
Your new role
Your new role will be operating a variety of machines and ensuring the smooth transition from initial operation to production of components. You will make sure there are no errors or faults, try to improve set up times and efficiency of machines. You will be working alternating shift patters 6-2, 2-10. You will initially be on a probational period for 6-9 months and will receive in house training to guide and support your development.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have had experience in the metal industry, it would be extremely beneficial if you have worked at APW, operating machines that manufactures metal sheets, as the companies are very similar. You will need to know how to use measuring equipment and understand the difference between stainless and aluminium steel. Furthermore you will need to posses the motivation to work, the ability to do overtime as and when required (increased overtime rate available). It will be highly beneficial if you have had experience in a similar industry working with sheet metal components of turret and press machines.
