The Supervisor is required to supervise a multi-skilled maintenance team on state of the art production machinery within the facility whilst being hands on themselves on technical projects. The Role: Within the remit of the role you will supervise a team of electrical and mechanical engineers undertaking multi-skilled maintenance on state of the art semi-automated machinery. You will be in charge of the maintenance schedules, overtime man management and leadership of the team as well as any complex technical issues that occur within the facility. You will be required to undertake hands on maintenance some of the time and take on complex technical projects within the facility.
The site is semi-automated and uses a mixture of PLC's. Any candidates with experience fault finding on PLC's would be ideal. As a skilled and meticulous Engineering Maintenance Supervisor you will be well organised and capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines on a rotating shift pattern.
- Hands on maintenance background
- Worked within a manufacturing environment
- Multi-skilled (electro-mechanical background)
- Supervisory experience (supervised a maintenance team)
- PLC ff ideal, not essential
- Electrical/ Mechanical apprenticeship/qualifications i.e. HNC OR HND ideal
