Shift Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) - URGENT|
Circa £35k P/A + OT + package
Our client is a leading FMCG/food business with an annual turnover in excess of £1 billion. Operating high-quality manufacturing facilities in the United Kingdom and United States, providing a wide range of products to major retail and food service customers in the UK, the US and Ireland.
They are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their maintenance department facilitating a state of the art operation based conveniently to West, North and East Yorkshire locations.
The purpose of this position is to contribute to the achievement of overall factory objectives by ensuring that plant, equipment and services within your defined area are maintained to set standards, while ensuring all actions are in line with Health, Safety and environmental legislation. You will be responsible for carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance in addition to PLC fault finding and diagnosis.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
* Fault finding on electrical systems from 400V - 24V
* Fault finding on Allen Bradley PLC systems
* Contributing to equipment improvement initiatives
* Root cause analysis
* Providing daily activity reports via the company CMMS
* Ongoing support in other areas of the business.
The ideal candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, flexible, and health and safety conscious. The successful candidate will have good communication skills and will be able to work on their own initiative.
Applicants must have served a recognised electrical apprenticeship and hold an ONC or a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering. Good operational knowledge of PLC and Inverter programming will be advantageous.

Shift requirements: 42.5 per week (average), 12 hour shifts: Continental shift pattern: 4 x day shifts, 4 x rest days, 4 x night shifts, 4 rest days
