Process Engineer

Process Engineer - £29,000 - £32,000 + Internal Training + Pension + Early finish on a Friday


Days based role

Process Engineer required for a steadily growing company that have a great staff retention rate. This is a new role due to further expansion and improvement.

The company value the importance of its people and this is evident in the culture. The role will suit candidates from a manufacturing background.

The successful candidate will come from a mechanically biased maintenance background and have progressed into or also work within a process improvements capacity within a manufacturing environment. You will have successfully improved process efficiency, this will involve reviewing manufacturing techniques and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The successful candidate will have knowledge of environmental and health and safety standards, BOM generation and MRP and have NPI experience.

You will work on the shop floor and be responsible for ensuring that all products within workshop meet production deadlines. You will conduct root cause analysis, ensure production is maximised and improve manufacturing processes where possible. You will also be responsible for ensuring health and safety standards are maintained throughout the business. Part of your role will involve preparing and updating work instructions/manuals for all manufacturing processes. You will also generate documents for BOM and MRP.

This is a great opportunity for a process engineer with basic mechanical/electrical skills looking to work for a friendly, growing company who invest in their employees and offer excellent in house training.

*Working on shop floor to ensure production plans are met

*Workshop based role

*Implementing lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency

*Monday-Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am -1pm

*Experience of NPI, BOM's and MRP documentation

*Maintaining health and safety and environmental standards
