SkyBlue are currently recruiting on behalf for the National Offenders Management Service at a site on the Isle of Sheppey, ME12. This can be a challenging environment, however due to the high demand of work this could be a long term opportunity for the correct candidate. |
Key duties will include but won't be limited to:
*To work as part of a multi-skilled team providing an efficient estates service.
*To carry out a wide range of Building work tasks
*To work with fine tools and equipment in difficult areas.
*To carry out minor repair work e.g. minor building repairs with minimum of supervision
*To carry out all aspects of carpentry and joinery including dry wall lining erection, painting of various surfaces, fitting of specialist locks and door closures
*To work safely with heavy equipment and work at heights
To be eligible for the vacancy we have at the moment you need to meet the following essential criteria:
*Trade qualification in Carpentry/Joinery
*Be well presented, and communicate effectively
*Be willing to work 1 in every 3 weekends.
To be able to work within the HM Prison Service, you must be able to pass the standard security vetting process. If you either hold a current DBS, previous CTC clearance or have worked in that environment before. We are looking to speak to you!
