About the role:

We are recruiting a number of key Engineer Surveyor roles with British Engineering Services, spearheading premium quality engineering testing, inspection and consultancy services.

As an Engineer Surveyor in the machinery discipline, you`ll be responsible for planning, completing and reporting on the highest quality inspections across a wide variety of customers and industries. From lifts to forklift trucks to wind turbines to coffee machines, you name it and they probably inspect it. So you`re unlikely to have two days the same.

Acting as a primary source of technical knowledge and expertise for engineering in your specific discipline, you`ll provide a high level of expert technical consultancy, networking with internal and external contacts and representing the company at external meetings.

About you:

You must have a Level 4 Engineering qualification and a proven, practical engineering track record encompassing experience of machinery. Able to work unsupervised, to prioritise and to make decisions on the condition and future safety of plant and equipment, you`re a superb all-round communicator who can articulate your findings both verbally and on paper to people at all levels.

You will also be able to offer strong relationship-building and influencing skills and a real customer focus. The willingness to work from home, with the flexibility to work elsewhere to meet business needs, is also a requirement for these positions.

You may have experience of the following: Engineer Surveyor, Machinery, Level 4 Engineering, Inspection, Technical Consultancy, Turbines, Certification, Testing, Engineering Consultant, etc.
