You will be tasked with producing technical designs for Electrical services on relevant projects pertaining to the Built Environment. Whether working on lighting design for large commercial schemes or complex power generation projects for bespoke refurbishments, you will be using the latest software to ensure Electrical designs are accurate and in keeping with pre-agreed specifications as well as being completed on time and in budget. You will engage proactively in meetings and communicate effectively with the team and, as the role develops, you may be required to attend site visits and meet with clients.
With good knowledge of Electrical systems and previous experience in a Building Services capacity, you will be a personable candidate with good communication skills. You will have a relevant academic background and you will live locally (or open to relocation) to either Plymouth or Exeter. You will be a technically minded individual with good design skills and possess confident software abilities. You will be a motivated individual with a desire to progress within the relevant discipline and you will be passionate about engineering.
A highly competitive basic salary will be calculated on the strength of the candidate and this will be incorporated into a generous overall package.
