As a Devops Engineer you will work with the team to develop our tooling and techniques bringing more innovation, automation, agility and quality across the design cycle. In this role you will collaborate with of Software Developers, IT teams and Quality to manage and advise on the best application of the various configuration and test tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, GIT and Clearcase. You may currently be working in another area of the software team or interacting with them and interested in developing your career in this area of software.

Key responsibilities

  • Support in the Identification of new tools in order to improve existing processes
  • Working with colleagues in the installation, configuration and maintenance of tools
  • Work with Software Developers to reduce bugs, shorten development times and automate processes to allow Developers to spend more time on developing codes
  • Take great code written in various languages including C,C , Python and Java and transform this into an efficient and robust executional code.

Skills qualifications and experience

  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Interest in development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum combined with exposure to configuration control and automated test tools such as Jenkins and Git.
  • A natural collaborator who can identify and share best practice
  • Knowledge of various coding languages
