Bombardier's facility at Crewe is the company's Centre of Excellence for Component Repair and Overhaul (CRO) services in the UK. The facility has achieved near perfect execution in terms of cost, quality and delivery for the past years. The Crewe facility focuses its services on overhauls of wheelsets, bogies, AC and DC motors, as well as rewinds of DC motors. Larger contracts will also see overhaul work for items such as pantographs, compressors and other ancillary components, while engaging in continuous improvement initiatives.
We are currently looking to recruit a new Head of Product Assurance (m/f) based in the Crewe, United Kingdom.
The Head of Product Assurance sets vision and strategy to support operations to deliver right the first time. He/she ensures that appropriate verification and validation methods are applied and that operational processes are defined, followed and monitored.
The Head of Product Assurance sets vision and strategy for product conformity that will meet customer specifications including technical queries and product life extensions.
He/she will drive and support the successful roll out, implementation, stabilization and improvement of Q6, while defining the strategy to develop problem solving know-how and apply adequate problem solving methods to problems of different complexity levels.
Personnel and disciplinary responsibility. Role typically on Business Units/Division level
